Welcome to the Foundation Degree Programme of Higher Skills Wales

The Foundation Degree (FD) Programme is a £16.5 million programme led by the University of Glamorgan Working in partnership with the HE and FE sector across the whole of Wales. The FD programme will provide a route for those employed in the private sector that are living and/or working within West Wales and the Valleys, the opportunity to study towards a Foundation Degree.

The FD Programme has been made possible thanks to funding from the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government, meaning those wishing to take part in the programme could benefit from either a fully funded or part funded place on one of the FD courses provided by the programme.

The Foundation Degree Programme is a fantastic opportunity to study and gain a University-accredited qualification whilst you remain in full or part-time private sector employment. Not only will it improve you and your workforce’s knowledge and skills, it will help pave the way to make your business more competitive in the market place.
